  • a small down payment (3.5%),
  • only a minimun 620 credit score
  • and it allows you to work into the mortgage up to $35,000 in repairs, which would be great for the roof, other minor repairs and even the purchase of appliances.
 
Additionally, with the new stimulus plan there is a Tax Credit of 10% on the purchase of a house for those that buy this year before December 1, 2009. And if you haven't already filed your 2008 taxes you could even possibly get the tax credit this year!!

We are trying to sell our house!!! We purchased this house and rehabbed a lot of it with our own money. Unfortunately, things did not work out for us and we were not able to complete the work. The home is in “as-is” condition; it has close to $50,000 in renovations and upgrades but there is still some work to be done.
